WEDDING AND HONEYMOON INTRODUCTION

Simplicity is the beauty of organising a resort style wedding (or renewal of vows). We have packages that can create a unique and romantic wedding that not only embellishes the day for the bride and groom but for the guests as well (if any).

Resort weddings can be a simple affair but with the chance to be in an exotic location we can arrange a more cultural ceremony and create something even more special and help make that day something to remember.

In regard to the feel of the ceremony there is a more relaxed holiday feel than the pressures that go along with the usual ‘traditional’ weddings. Basically the way in which the specialised packages are worked makes it less a chore and more a holiday than your traditional ceremony. One could say the honeymoon begins before the marriage.

HONEYMOON REGISTRY SERVICE

Travel Avenue also offers a “Honeymoon Registry” facility which enables your guests to directly contribute to your romantic sojourn. This can either be done in the form of a monetary contribution or with consultation allowing your guests to purchase a certain portion of your honeymoon i.e. Day tours, spa vouchers, and meal vouchers. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (legal details)

In each country there are a number of statutory laws and intricacies that need to be clarified before the nuptials become legal. One example is that Vanuatu requires the documentation to be filed prior to the wedding (approximately 3 weeks) where as in Fiji you can only obtain the license by attending the registry office in person.
