SAMANTHA SLY-
Samantha has over 15 years industry experience, she has travelled extensively and continues to do so whenever possible. She has a strong client following due to her enthusiasm and ability and is well equipped to lead Travel Avenue further into the future.

This year it is planned to further upgrade technology, to ensure staff are up to date not only with technology but with industry changes. Samantha is also seeking to expand Travel Avenue & Italia Mia Websites and the Corporate base with both areas showing steady growth. The style of business will never change as it is based on customer service, but keeping up to date is essential.

JULIE CORRIGAN-
I have been involved in travel and the travel industry for many years. I am lucky that I can be involved in helping other people enjoy this passion as it also helps relive some of my most memorable experiences that I have too. For example, the first time I went to Rome it simply had EVERYTHING that I hoped for and this is one of the reasons why I am now an Italian specialist today.

But Italy has not been the only highlight; I can also include the Greek Islands especially after seeing the real life colours of a white washed cottage against the blue of the Mediterranean Sea.

Other memories have been catching sight of the pilgrims walk their way through the mist whilst I sat quietly on a boat on the Ganges to sitting on a Nepalese rooftop whilst the sun rose slowly to clear the mist and let me see for the first time the majestic Nepalese mountains.

BEV DAVEY-
I came to Travel Avenue following many years with Qantas as a travel consultant and then travel manger (and I exercise my prerogative as a woman to remain vague in advising just how long ago that was).

Having travelled extensively to Europe and developing an absolute passion for Italy in particular, I am now the Italia Mia division, (Italian) specialist. I enjoy the social interaction with my clients and I LOVE to help them with ideas and advice for their travel to Italy and beyond. It’s the personal touches and experience that can make the difference.

PETER DIMITRIADIS-
Peter joined Travel Avenue in 2010 as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. Peter brings to Travel Avenue a vast knowledge of European travel and cuisine. A dedicated traveller, Peter visits Europe every year to increase his knowledge base and explore the more outward areas off the typical tourist route.

Peter trained in ballet at the National Theatre in Melbourne from 1973 to 1985. His training was expanded throughout the following two years at the Australian Ballet School. Beyond completing his training, Peter re-located to London as a principal dancer with Royal Ballet of London. In 1989, Peter accepted a position with the Netherland Dance Company. This appointment led to extensive performing and travelling throughout Europe, where Peter discovered his insatiable love of travel and culture. Arriving back in Australia several years later, Peter extended his studies in Drama and Dance in Melbourne and followed with a scholorship to study in New York at the coveted School of Juliard. Upon graduation, Peter returned to Australia and based himself in Sydney where he attained a desired position dancing with The Australian Opera.

Peter is also involved in the commercial Florist industry through his company, The Flower Boys. Ever the achiever, Peter has worked consistently in the international marketplace, primarily creating installations at the annual Chelsea Flower Show in the UK. Peter continues his work in the field and makes the yearly sojourn to the UK where his talents are utilised by some of the world's premier florists.

Peter's dedication to his crafts is everpresent in his professional life, where he excells in every aspect of the job. Peter is a welcomed addition to the Travel Avenue Team. Welcome, Peter!!

RAEMA FRIEDMAN-
I have worked in the travel industry for 24 yrs and have enjoyed every day. My main philosophy is to offer service to clients and information so it is absolutely stress free.

I have enjoyed travelling to many countries and love, in particular, France, Italy and Israel. I have even enjoyed travelling in our own beautiful country and have done so extensively - yet I still yearn for more. Driving and walking in the different destinations is my passion as well.

As a consultant I also enjoy offering accommodation and restaurants that can be an absolute gem and making sure I assist my clients in getting them exactly what they want.
