THE UNITED KINGDOM
The Royal Scotsman, a luxury sleeper train travelling the Scottish Highlands. After a warm bagpipe welcome at Waverly Station, Edinburgh, hop onboard and settle into your sumptuous cabin with touches of mahogany and tartan. Journeys range from 2 to 7 nights and incorporate all things Scottish from whisky tasting, lochs and waterfalls as well as the odd castle or two. Evening entertainment, fine dining and beverages are all included.

A one-day journey can take you to the historic city of Bath, or the University town of Oxford, or Blenheim Palace the birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.

AFRICA
Rail is a fabulous way to see the African countryside. It’s a great alternative to a Safari and offers traveller a chance to experience the golden age of train travel.
Travel through South Africa onboard Rovos Rail where iconic destination such as Cape Town, Victoria Falls and Dar es Salaam are available as well as off train excursions. Journeys last from 48 hours to 15 nights with a maximum of 72 passengers. Bed down in beautifully restored vintage carriages, all with ensuites or gaze through picture windows in the observation car. Indulge in fine foods with lunch and dinner a four-course affair and sample a variety of South African wines. Rovos Rail is an experience in itself and one to treasure.
The Blue Train, often described as a moving five-star hotel on wheels takes the route between Cape Town and Pretoria or vice versa over three days. With a maximum of 82 travellers, indulge in the finest cuisine, all freshly prepared by on board chefs, lounge in the club car with whisky in hand, or observe the magnificent South African landscapes from the observation car. A stop in Kimberly is included with a visit to the Kimberly Open Mine Museum. We suggest to incorporate the Blue Train into a longer itinerary combining a city stay, safari and Blue Train experience.
THE AMERICAS
The iconic Rocky Mountaineer weaves it was through the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains. The train offers two categories of travel, GoldLeaf for five-star comfort and its upper-level glass dome coaches, or SilverLeaf with an excellent level of service and glass domed coaches. Journeys are a combination of train and hotel stays.
Experience slow travel as your luxury hotel on wheels takes you through the Peruvians Andes, winding its way from Cusco to Arequipa or the return. The journey is one of the highest-altitude train journeys in the world all done in the comfort of your elegant cabin. Or travel the plains on the Highlands Journey from Cusco to Colca Valley with a stop at Lake Titicaca, to experience the colour and communities that reside in the area. Both rail journeys are a combination of a luxury hotel stay and rail journey either in Cusaco or the Colca Valley.
